He acts as a bridge between the Creative Director and the Client Service team to ensure that key audience insights and communication objectives are always kept front of mind. Prior to starting Circus in 2000, Mike spent the first 20 years of his career working in Client Service at George Patterson and DDB, which at that time were two of Australia’s most successful agency brands. Today, Mike almost exclusively focuses on developing effective brand and campaign strategies, working with clients, researchers and creatives alike to offer an acutely strategic perspective on customer engagement.

Maria is Managing Director of Circus for good reason. Maria is a seasoned professional in agency workflow, production, procurement and financial process. After stints in both small and large agencies, Maria joined Circus in 2005 at a chance to build her ‘perfect agency’. In addition to running the agency operationally, Maria has spent the last 13 years leading internal and external teams, passionately adhering to the highest standard of client and stakeholder relationships, to seamlessly deliver successful campaigns. Maria ensures the agency always delivers on brief, including the selection and management of all resources, ensuring the values of Circus and our clients are always upheld.

Lincoln is the ‘complete’ creative director, a consummate professional with expertise across all aspects of the creative process. As comfortable in championing a marketing strategy as he is orchestrating a film shoot, Lincoln is an acclaimed ideas generator, creative conceptualiser, as well as an experienced director of photography, film and talent. Prior to joining Circus in 2013, Lincoln ran his own creative studio for 15 years, working with Village Roadshow, News Limited, Travelex and India Tourism. Today, he leads the Circus team of performers, delivering awareness, behavioural and tactical campaigns for the likes of NSW Government, Luxaflex, Smeg, BOC, Elanco and Mastercard.
